Overview

Savvit is a privacy-first app. We don't require sign-in, we don't sell your data, and we collect the bare minimum needed to make the app work.

What We Collect

• Search queries: Product names or URLs you search for, used solely to return pricing results. Not linked to your identity.
• Anonymous analytics: Basic app usage events (searches, screen views) via PostHog. No personal identifiers are attached.
• Device region: Your selected region (e.g., India, US) to provide relevant retailer pricing.

What We Don't Collect

• No name, email, or phone number (no account required)
• No location data
• No contacts, photos, or files
• No advertising identifiers
• No data sold to third parties — ever

Third-Party Services

Savvit uses the following services to function:

• Perplexity AI: For real-time price search across retailers
• Google Gemini: For AI verdict generation
• PostHog: For anonymous product analytics
• Supabase: For data storage (watchlist, verdicts)

These services process your search queries to return results. No personal data is shared with them.

Data Retention

Search results are cached for up to 24 hours to improve performance. Watchlist data is stored locally on your device. No server-side accounts exist.

Children's Privacy

Savvit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the app.
